3. Steve Wilks

Wilks took over as the head coach for the Arizona Cardinals this past offseason. After being with the Carolina Panthers for six seasons, Wilks finally got a shot to be a head coach in the NFL. His 2-7 record is nothing to write home about. He has underutilized his best player in David Johnson. He has a rookie quarterback. This is his first opportunity to lead his own team. Should we be hard on him?

The answer is always yes, every coach could make better decisions throughout the season. Maybe if he can find a way to use Johnson and future Hall of Famer Larry Fitzgerald, he would have a better record heading into a Week 11 showdown with the lowly Oakland Raiders. This is a must-win for Wilks.

Wilks will have to take advantage of a Raiders team with plenty of holes this week if he wants to stay a head coach in this league. Wilks needs this win to not only keep his job but to also boost his teams morale in a down year. Hopefully, he can lead his squad to victory and take himself off the hot seat.
