5. Odell Beckham Jr. vs Tampa Bay

Odell Beckham Jr. is coming off his best touchdown showing of the season thus far in the win over San Francisco. Beckham was vocal in his belief that the team can get a win streak going and that the season wasn’t over. I think it is but I will say I think this week is another golden opportunity for the Giants to get to three wins on the year.

Beckham is creeping towards the 1,000-yard mark for the season and I think that could easily be achieved this weekend against the Buccaneers. Just 142 yards sit between Beckham and the mark. Oh, Beckham has already had 140+ in a game this season when he had 143 against Atlanta? And the Buccaneers secondary is worse? Easy play.

One thing I continually talk about with Beckham as a matchup is that he still isn’t getting the red zone catches you’d like to see him get. Through nine games Beckham only has four receptions in the red zone for 25 yards and a pair of scores. Leading up to it he’s been huge with 19 receptions for 280 yards. He also has two touchdowns of 20+ yards making him a big-time target this weekend.

I think Mike Evans rebounds as well as the Buccanneers heavy hitter, even with Desean Jackson in tow, and we could get a fun battle there between the two top receivers.
