3. Todd Gurley vs Kansas City

Todd Gurley is a mortal lock for big points this week. It’s the showdown of star backs with Hunt and Gurley going head to head. The game has been moved to Los Angeles and the Rams are a 3.5 point favorite (the three as the home team here). Gurley will be the reason they win this game.

I mentioned last week that due to the flex on Sunday night we now have two great prime time games this week, with the Rams and Chiefs on Monday night and the Bears and Vikings on Sunday night.

Gurley is my favorite for MVP this year and he’s already having a banner year, which is crazy to think of in his near MVP year last year. Through 10 games, Gurley has 988 yards on 198 carries (for a career-best 5.0 yards per carry so far) and 13 touchdowns (tied a career-high). He also has 40 receptions for 402 yards and four touchdowns, also headed towards career-highs.

Goff coming more and more into his own has made the offense hum but what makes it scary is Todd Gurley. The Chiefs run defense has documented struggles and Gurley’s ability to dominate the line of scrimmage should pay off big this week.
