Fantasy Football 2018: 10 matchups to attack in Week 11
By Connor Ulrey
2. Carson Wentz vs New Orleans
The Wentz Wagon is due to ride again. After a frustrating home loss to the Cowboys last week it doesn’t get any easier for Wentz and the Eagles with New Orleans up next. The Saints are the hottest team in football by a large margin and that presents a potential blowout this week.
The defense is bound to struggle this week after being torched by Ezekiel Elliott they get Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram this week. That being said, Wentz will be the biggest part of the Eagles staying in this game for more than a quarter like the Bengals almost did.
Wentz hasn’t had a bad campaign in 2018 since coming back from the knee injury, with 15 touchdowns and just three interceptions on the year. Sitting at 4-5 though, coming off a Super Bowl win, the hangover is real.
The Eagles definitely hoped the bye coming off a win would help strengthen the dynamic they had but then Dallas happened. Getting New Orleans at the worst time doesn’t help but what would an Eagles win this weekend do? Change everything. I don’t think that happens but I think Wentz has his best game of the year against the Saints.
