High Value SG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Brandon Ingram (at MIA – $5,700): Needs 25.3 fantasy points. Ingram had 35 fantasy points against the Magic on Saturday. Unlike Lonzo Ball, Ingram fits next to LeBron. He’s a good scorer and playmaker who also chips in with assists. The Lakers defense is a mess, but their offense is solid enough. Miami can be a tough match, but I trust Ingram, especially at this salary. Diagnosis: Good salary for a player who gets a lot of minutes and does a little bit of everything.

Terrence Ross (vs NY – $5,200): Needs 23.1 fantasy points. Ross was down to 15.5 fantasy points against the Lakers. He played only 16 minutes, which was part of the problem. I like him to bounce back on Sunday because the Magic are playing the Knicks. And I like anyone against the Knicks right now. They give the Cavaliers a run for their money as the worst team in the league. Diagnosis: It’s the Knicks. Pound the matchup.

Tyler Johnson (vs LAL – $4,300): Needs 19.5 fantasy points. Johnson is playing big minutes right now and playing very well. He’s been over 26 fantasy points in his last two games. At this low salary, minutes matter. He can do a bit of everything and posts a good usage rate for a low-cost player. If nothing else, he’ll at least get you value. Diagnosis: Reliable option who gets plenty of minutes to contribute. And typically finds a way to contribute.
