High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,250

DeMar DeRozan (vs GS – $8,600): Needs 38.1 fantasy points. DeRozan had 56.5 fantasy points against the Clippers on Nov. 15. With LaMarcus Aldridge struggling in a big way, DeRozan has had to carry even more of the offensive load. He can do it, which is why he’s a value DFS player. He’ll also chip in with rebounds. The assists are down, but he’s not getting much help from those around him. Diagnosis: High ceiling and, unless Aldridge figures it out, will continue to get buckets.

Aaron Gordon (vs NY – $7,600): Needs 33.7 fantasy points. Gordon had just 28 fantasy points against the Lakers but only played 29 minutes. Minutes could be an issue once again on Sunday as this one could be a blowout. But maybe the Magic have tired legs and the Knicks are able to make it competitive. Gordon has a high ceiling, can do a bit of everything, and a great matchup. Diagnosis: Solid salary for a high ceiling player. Minutes are a concern.

Tim Hardaway Jr (at ORL – $7,300): Needs 32.4 fantasy points. Hardaway Jr had 47.5 fantasy points against the Pelicans on Nov. 16. He’s been inconsistent this season, but he’s the best perimeter scorer on the Knicks and can get hot in a hurry. He was bad against the Magic on Nov. 11, which is a slight concern. But Orlando is on a back-to-back, so maybe they have tired legs. Diagnosis: Inconsistent, but a high ceiling and typically gets points.
