High Value SF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Rudy Gay (vs GS – $5,500): Needs 24.4 fantasy points. Gay has looked solid in his two games since returning from injury. I love him coming off the bench, as long as the minutes are there. His minutes should continue to climb as he gets a bit healthier. He’s good for points and rebounds. Any assists he gives you is just a bonus. Diagnosis: Warriors can be a tough matchup, but these aren’t quite the Championship Warriors. Gay is solid at this salary.

Evan Fournier (at NY – $5,400): Needs 24 fantasy points. Fournier bounced back with 27.75 fantasy points against the Lakers on Saturday. He had been playing well prior to the Sixers game, so it looks like that was just an off-night and not the start of something more. At this salary, he’s a reliable option. Plus, Knicks. Diagnosis: Reliable at worst. Solid ceiling and a great matchup.

Evan Turner (at WAS – $4,200): Needs 18.6 fantasy points. Turner was bad against Minnesota, finishing with just 10.25 fantasy points. But who knew Minnesota would be good again? Otherwise, Turner has been solid this season. And there’s been no trade that will magically fix the Wizards like with Minnesota. Give how he’s played this season, I’ll chalk up the Minnesota game to an off night and expect him to bounce back. Diagnosis: Give him this game, especially with the matchup.
