DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – November 18, 2018
High Value PF
Players costing $6,250 or under
Otto Porter Jr (vs POR – $4,900): Needs 21.7 fantasy points. I don’t trust any of the Washington role players right now and Porter is definitely a role player. But he’s played well against Portland throughout his career and had 35.5 fantasy points against them on Oct. 22. I still don’t know what to make of Washington and I fully understand if you don’t trust him. But the ceiling is there and the matchup is proven. Diagnosis: A risky player, but the reward is good.
Jonas Jerebko (at SA – $3,900): Needs 17.3 fantasy points. Jerebko had 24 fantasy points against the Mavericks on Saturday. The Warriors frontcourt guys seem to rotate on who has the big games and I’m not opposed to going with Looney in this spot either. But Jerebko has been the most consistent and with the highest ceiling this season. Diagnosis: Low-cost option who will get minutes and chances with Draymond Green out.
Al-Farouq Aminu (at WAS – $4,800): Needs 21.3 fantasy points. Aminu has been a bit inconsistent this season, but I still like anyone under $5,000 who is going to play big minutes and who can do a bit of everything. Aminu certainly fits the bill. He had 38.75 fantasy points against the Wizards on Oct. 22. Diagnosis: Inconsistent option, but nice at this salary due to the minutes he gets and how he can put up numbers in all categories.
Quick Hits
Mario Hezonja ($3,600): I love a good “player vs. former team” game. And Mario played well against Orlando earlier this season.
