Players costing over $6,667

Hassan Whiteside (vs LAL – $8,900): Needs 39.4 fantasy points. I’m taking any center against the Lakers right now. They haven’t proven that they can stop anyone in the paint. And Whiteside is a big rebounder and solid enough scorer. Plus, he always comes up with a handful of defensive plays. The rebounds are going to be there if nothing else. But given the matchup, the points should be there as well. The Lakers just offer very little in the paint. Diagnosis: Love the matchup and his ceiling.

Nikola Vucevic (vs NY – $8,700): Needs 38.5 fantasy points. One guy who got to feast on the Lakers interior on Saturday was Vucevic, who had 54.6 fantasy points against LA on Saturday. Vucevic has been playing very well as of late and he should be able to keep it up against the Knicks. The only real concern is a lack of minutes if this turns into a blowout. But he’ll produce for as long as he plays. Diagnosis: Playing great and has a great matchup.

Jusuf Nurkic (at WAS – $7,600): Needs 33.6 fantasy points. Nurkic had 50.6 fantasy points against the Wizards on Oct. 22. The Wizards didn’t have Howard in that one, which will make Nurkic’s life slightly tougher. His minutes have been a bit inconsistent as of late, which is a concern. But, much like Vucevic, he’s going to dominate for as many minutes as he does play. Diagnosis: Another center with a great matchup.
