FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – November 18, 2018
High Salary SG
Players costing over $6,667
DeMar DeRozan (vs GS – $9,200): Needs 38.3 fantasy points. With LaMarcus Aldridge forgetting how to score, DeRozan has had to step up. His scoring will always be there. His assist numbers have dropped thanks in part to his second option no longer scoring the basketball. The Warriors are a mess defensively and on a back-to-back. Things are lining up for DeRozan to have a big scoring night. Diagnosis: Reliable at worst, but a lot of things working in his favor offensively.
Klay Thompson (at SA – $7,500): Needs 31.2 fantasy points. With all the injuries to the Warriors, Klay will continue to get shots. I will say if you want someone who might be a little more reliable but doesn’t have quite as good a matchup, Beal is a better option, even if he costs a lot more. Thompson just has a slightly higher bust value because if he’s cold, he’s not doing enough in other areas to make up the value. Diagnosis: I expect him to score. Because of that, I like him on Sunday.
Tim Hardaway Jr (at ORL – $7,400): Needs 30.8 fantasy points. Hardaway Jr was up to 45.6 fantasy points against the Pelicans on Nov. 16. He managed just 16.7 fantasy points against the Magic on Nov. 11. I’ll chalk that up to an off-night and expect him to be better against the Magic on Sunday. He’s a good scorer and the Knicks need points from anyone right now. Diagnosis: He’ll get buckets ad chip in with rebounds.
