FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – November 18, 2018
High Value SG
Players costing $6,667 or under
CJ McCollum (at WAS – $6,600): Needs 27.5 fantasy points. McCollum was down to 22.2 fantasy points against the Timberwolves on Nov. 16. He had just 24.8 fantasy points against the Wizards on Oct. 22. His scoring has been hit-and-miss this season, which is worrying. When he’s on his game, few in the league can get hotter. But when he’s off, he’s not doing enough in other areas to make up the value. I like the matchup because the Wizards are a mess. Diagnosis: Inconsistent with a high ceiling and great matchup.
Evan Fournier (vs NY – $6,400): Needs 26.6 fantasy points. After a 9.8 fantasy point performance against the Sixers, Fournier responded with 27 fantasy points against the Lakers. I trust him to be just as good on Sunday because who isn’t good against the Knicks. He’s been decent this season and was playing very well prior to the Sixers game. Minutes might be a concern if this is a blowout. Diagnosis: Love the matchup and Fournier should be at value if nothing else.
Terrence Ross (vs NY – $5,100): Needs 21.2 fantasy points. Ross was down to just 13.4 fantasy points on Saturday against the Lakers. He only played 16 minutes, so that would explain his lesser performance. Assuming his minutes are back up, he’ll get you the points he needs for value. And the minutes should be up against the Knicks. Diagnosis: He’ll bounce back because he should get more run against the lowly Knicks. Chalk up Saturday to an off/weird night.
