FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – November 18, 2018
High Value SF
Players costing $6,667 or under
Rudy Gay (vs GS – $5,700): Needs 23.3 fantasy points. Gay has been solid in his two games since retiring from a heel injury. I love him coming off the bench and if he can get his minutes up to around 30, he’s going to have a big impact. The Warriors are in a weird place right now and they don’t have much coming off the bench. Gay should be able to take advantage of that. Diagnosis: Love his situation and the matchup given how the Warriors have looked recently.
Justise Winslow (vs LAL – $5,300): Needs 21.7 fantasy points. Winslow had 22.2 fantasy points against the Pacers on Nov. 16. His minutes have been inconsistent recently, which is a bit troubling. But he’s a guy who can do a bit of everything and his versatility should leave him with some bigger minutes against the Lakers. And I’m taking anyone against the Lakers right now. Diagnosis: Reliable at worst.
Evan Turner (at WAS – $4,300): Needs 17.6 fantasy points. Turner was down to 11.2 fantasy points against the Timberwolves on Nov. 16. He hasn’t been good in two out of his last three games, which is concerning. But the Wizards bench is terrible and Turner had 20.9 fantasy points against them on Oct. 22. I’ll trust him on Sunday to bounce back. Diagnosis: Testing my patience, but the matchup is good.
