High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,667

Aaron Gordon (vs NY – $8,200): Needs 33.8 fantasy points. Gordon had 28.7 fantasy points in just 29 minutes against the Lakers on Saturday. Given the matchup on Sunday, the minutes are worrying once again. If the game is competitive and Gordon plays his usual 33 minutes, he’ll have no issue hitting value. But I’m not 100 percent certain it’ll happen on Sunday. Diagnosis: Matchup is good. Maybe a little too good.

LaMarcus Aldridge (vs GS – $8,100): Needs 33.4 fantasy points. Aldridge has forgotten how to shoot the basketball, but he’s chipping in with high rebounding numbers, which helps his value. Still, it’d be nice if he remembered how to score because that’s what makes him a big value player. Not having to deal with Draymond Green and JaVale McGee should help him on Sunday. If nothing else, the rebounds seem to be there. Diagnosis: He’s ready to explode with his scoring. And the salary is good.

Kyle Kuzma (at MIA – $6,300): Needs 26 fantasy points. Kuzma is below the line, but the highest salary on the list behind Aldridge and Gordon. He’s been dreadful in his last two games. He had 15 fantasy points against the Blazers and 16.2 fantasy points against the Magic on Saturday. The ceiling and minutes are there, but it’s tough to trust him at the moment. Diagnosis: Salary is too high based on what he’s done in recent games.
