FanDuel NFL 2018: Week 11 lineup
Wide Receivers: Keenan Allen, Los Angeles Chargers- $7,600; Corey Davis, Tennessee Titans- $6,200 & Larry Fitzgerald, Arizona Cardinals- $5,900
This week’s wide receiver core will be anchored by Chargers wideout, Allen. He has struggled to find the end zone this season, but last week crossed the goal line for the first time since Week 1.
Allen caught six passes for 57 yards and one score against the Oakland Raiders and helped the Chargers improve to 7-2. He finished the game with 14.7 fantasy points and has accumulated double-digit fantasy totals in back to back games for the second time this season.
He is ranked in the top-20 in terms of receiving yards (687) in the NFL and has eight receptions for 20 or more yards. He has caught at least five passes in every game this season, minus two.
This week, Allen faces the Denver Broncos. Receivers are averaging 29.2 fantasy points per game against the Broncos’ secondary and they have given up 1,434 yards.
Allen will have a tough matchup, but playing in front of a home crowd will certainly help. In four home games he is averaging seven receptions for 83.2 yards.
If you had Davis in your lineup last week, it paid off big time. He caught seven passes for 125 yards and one touchdown in the team’s 34-10 victory over the New England Patriots. His 22 fantasy points was fourth amongst the position in Week 10.
He currently leads the Titans in all receiving categories and has recorded11 receptions for over 20 yards. That is the same amount as Michael Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders and DeSean Jackson.
Davis has eclipsed the 100-yard mark in two games this season and was targeted 10 times in consecutive games for the first time this year. When the Titans target him at least 10 times, Tennessee has a 3-1 record.
The Titans take on the Indianapolis Colts for the first time this year. Indianapolis’ secondary has allowed 1,334 yards, 10 touchdowns and 247.7 fantasy points to receivers this season. Tennessee’s recipe for success is getting Davis the ball and they will do that on Sunday.
Arizona’s season is slipping away at 2-7, but veteran wideout Fitzgerald is still producing. He leads the team in nearly every receiving category, except receiving yards. He is tied with rookie Christian Kirk with two touchdowns and has one less reception for over 20 yards.
Last week Fitzgerald caught six passes for 50 yards against the Kansas City Chiefs. Before this performance, he had consecutive games with a touchdown. In his last four games he is averaging 9.5 targets per game.
The Cardinals take on the Oakland Raiders this week at home. Oakland’s secondary has allowed receivers to score 12 touchdowns this year, eighth most in the league. They are ranked 21st in the NFL defending the pass.
It’s evident rookie quarterback Josh Rosen is trying to get Fitzgerald more involved in the offense and this week is a great opportunity for it.
