Players costing over $6,667

Giannis Antetokounmpo (vs DEN – $11,500): Needs 46.9 fantasy points. Giannis had 50.8 fantasy points against the Nuggets on Nov. 11. You know the drill with Giannis. The ceiling is always there for him to have a big game. And given that this should be a competitive matchup, I fully expect him to have a big game where he puts up strong numbers in all categories. Diagnosis: You can always count on Giannis to deliver and then some.

Paul George (at SAC – $10,000): Needs 40.8 fantasy points. George’s value still depends a bit on the status of Westbrook. If Westbrook is back, his numbers will take a dip. Things will come easier, but he won’t be the focal point of the offense. But the defense will continue to be there. If Westbrook plays, this salary might be a tad too high for him to deliver what you need. But I still like him at value with Westbrook. Just nicely over if Westbrook is out. Diagnosis: Playing great, good matchup, but overall value depends on Westbrook.

Nikola Mirotic (vs SA – $8,000): Needs 32.6 fantasy points. Mirotic has been strong this season and is coming off a 43 fantasy point performance against the Nuggets on Nov. 17. He had 42.7 fantasy points against the Spurs on Nov. 3. Mirotic is getting points and rebounds and thriving next to Anthony Davis. The Spurs remains a bit inconsistent and they are on a back-to-back, which can always be worrying. Diagnosis: Reliable if nothing else. But the matchup is good and the points and rebounds will be there.
