John Harbaugh, Baltimore Ravens head coach

  • Strengths: Top tier coach with experience building a winning culture
  • Weaknesses: Not an offensive or defensive guru
  • Best Fits: Green Bay Packers, Cleveland Browns

All signs are pointing towards Harbaugh and the Ravens divorcing this offseason, which happens to a lot of marriages that at one time worked but no longer do. There are the memories of a Super Bowl and the success that Harbaugh brought to Baltimore, but everyone is replaceable and schticks wear out. That’s the case here, as a change is simply the best for both parties. Baltimore is entering the Lamar Jackson era and needs a new head coach, and Harbaugh has one more good run with another team in him.

What the team is will be a big question, but there’s an obvious answer. Should Harbaugh hit the market, Green Bay had better hand him as many blank checks as it takes to get him. Harbaugh isn’t an offensive innovator, but he’s an incredible head coach who would do wonders for Rodgers both himself and by identifying the right offensive coordinator.
