High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,667

John Wall (vs LAC – $9,800): Needs 40.7 fantasy points. We’re really going to start with this? I don’t have a clue about the Wizards. I could see the Wizards rallying around the turmoil and smoking the Clippers. The more likely scenario is that the Wizards crumble against a good team like the Clippers and begin fighting each other by halftime. I honestly don’t know about the Wizards. I just don’t. Diagnosis: I’m baffled.

Damian Lillard (at NY – $9,600): Needs 39.9 fantasy points. Lillard had 56.7 fantasy points against the Wizards on Nov. 18. It was the Wizards, so it doesn’t really count. Then again, it’s not like the Knicks are much better. As long as the minutes are there, Lillard will have no problem getting his points while chipping in, in other categories. Diagnosis: High ceiling, great matchup, only issue is a potential blowout.

Kyle Lowry (at ORL – $8,100): Needs 33.7 fantasy points. Lowry’s play has slipped recently, but he’s at a low salary, making him easier to fit into your lineup. The assists and rebounds are typically there, he’s just not scoring the basketball. Against the Magic, he’ll have a good chance to bounce back. He’s too good of a player to keep struggling in this manner. Diagnosis: Good matchup and due for shots to start falling.
