PORTLAND, OR – MARCH 23: Al-Farouq Aminu /

High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Al-Farouq Aminu (at NY – $5,500): Needs 22.3 fantasy points. Aminu can be inconsistent, but the minutes are always there for him and he can post strong scoring and rebounding numbers when he’s on his game. He’ll have plenty of time and opportunities to contribute against a poor Knicks squad. The ceiling is there and the minutes will definitely be there. Diagnosis: Great matchup and will get the minutes.

Noah Vonleh (vs POR – $4,100): Needs 16.6 fantasy points. The Knicks frontcourt rotation changes with every game, but Vonleh is getting big minutes every night. He’s not exactly posting huge numbers, but at least the minutes are there. And at this price, minutes always matter. And this is a revenge game for Vonleh, so maybe he finally has that breakout game. Diagnosis: Low-cost option who will get the minutes and might make an impact with the revenge factor.

Mike Scott (at WAS – $3,600): Needs 14.6 fantasy points. Scott had 32.9 fantasy points against the Hawks on Monday. He’s a good shooter and with Danilo Gallinari, got some extra run. If Gallinari is out once again, Scott becomes a very suitable replacement, especially at this salary. The matchup is even better. The Wizards are just…yeah. Diagnosis: Take him with confidence if Gallinari doesn’t end up playing.
