High Value PG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Derrick Rose (vs DEN – $6,400): Needs 26.6 fantasy points. Rose was down to 27.1 fantasy points against the Grizzlies on Nov. 18, but I’m not concerned. The Grizzlies are a tough matchup and his salary has lowered. The Nuggets are a much better matchup and he’s played well enough this season to think that he’ll bounce back on Wednesday. Diagnosis: High ceiling, good matchup, will get the minutes and usage.

Spencer Dinwiddie (at DAL – $6,300): Needs 26.2 fantasy points. Dinwiddie had 29.9 fantasy points against the Heat on Tuesday. The back-to-back is tough, but Dinwiddie will continue to post a high usage rate with LeVert out of the lineup. He averaged 30.8 fantasy points in two games against the Mavericks last season. I like his ceiling with LeVert out. Diagnosis: Reliable at worst, but the matchup is good.

Darren Collison (at CHA – $5,200): Needs 21.6 fantasy points. Collison has been solid in the last two games and is coming off a 29.7 fantasy point performance against the Jazz on Nov. 19. If Victor Oladipo is out again, Collison will continue to post a higher usage rate. But Oladipo being in the lineup makes things easier for him. Kema is great offensively, but the Hornets defense isn’t good at all. Diagnosis: Will get the minutes and can do a bit of everything.
