High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,667

Jrue Holiday (at PHI – $8,800): Needs 36 fantasy points. You pretty much know what you’re getting with Holiday at this point. He’s going to be over 40 fantasy points and the potential for a 50 fantasy point game is always there. The Sixers defense still isn’t great and the Pelicans offense is deadly when things are clicking. Holiday can do a bit of everything and always makes an impact. Diagnosis: Very reliable and a high ceiling.

Devin Booker (at CHI – $7,900): Needs 32.3 fantasy points. Booker had 50.6 fantasy points against the Sixers on Nov. 19. He’s been a bit inconsistent this season, but he’s a high ceiling guy who can go off at a moments notice. The Bulls are not good and this just feels like a game where Booker goes nuts. Diagnosis: Sort of a gut feeling, but also playing the matchup and banking on Booker’s potential.

Andrew Wiggins (vs DEN – $6,800): Needs 27.8 fantasy points. Wiggins was down to 18.4 fantasy points against the Grizzlies on Nov. 18. Prior to that, he had been over 40 fantasy points in two straight. I expect him to bounce back given the matchup and what he’s capable of. The Grizzlies are just a tough defensive team. The Nuggets, especially as of late, are not. There are a lot of strong SG options on Wednesday, but Wiggins provides great value for the cost. Diagnosis: Low-cost in the higher salary bracket and big potential.
