High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,667

LeBron James (at CLE – $11,500): Needs 47.2 fantasy points. James had 72.1 fantasy points against the Heat on Nov. 18. He’s been inconsistent this season, but he’s also been over 70 fantasy points in his last two games. And now he returns to Cleveland. If he’s in sentimental mode, he’ll relax and coast because the Lakers should not need him to score 50 to him. If he’s in petty mode, he’ll drop a 50-point triple-double. What happened to Ty Lue again? Diagnosis: It’s LeBron against a bad team. He shouldn’t need a big game. But it’s still LeBron against a bad team.

Giannis Antetokounmpo (vs POR – $11,400): Needs 46.8 fantasy points. Giannis had 54.4 fantasy points against the Nuggets on Nov. 19. Giannis is always good for value because he puts up numbers in all categories. And the potential for a big game is there as well. He had just 36.8 fantasy points against the Blazers on Nov. 6. There’s no way he’s that bad again, especially at home. Diagnosis: Reliable with a very high ceiling.

TJ Warren (at CHI – $7,000): Needs 28.7 fantasy points. Warren has been over 30 fantasy points in six straight. He’s been playing very well, providing strong secondary scoring next to Booker. Against the Bulls, he should have no problem getting his points and chipping in with a handful of rebounds and assists. There are good SF options with a higher ceiling, but as a cost-effective option, Warren is your guy. Diagnosis: Good salary, playing well, great matchup.
