Running Backs: Ezekiel Elliott, Dallas Cowboys- $8,700 & Mark Ingram, New Orleans Saints- $7,400

A big reason why the Cowboys’ season is beginning to turn around is the production from Elliott. Elliot has rushed for over 100 yards in consecutive games for the second time this season.

In week 11 against Atlanta, Elliott averaged over five yards a carry for 122 yards and a touchdown. He also tied a season high with seven receptions and compiled 79 yards. Elliot is second in the league with 953 rushing yards. He is one of two players in the league with 900+ rushing yards on the season.

The third-year back has rushed for at least 100 yards in five contents. Dallas is 4-1 when Elliott has at least 100 yards on the ground. Similarly, when Elliot gets the ball at least 19 times, Dallas has the same record. Bottom line, keep giving Elliott the ball.

Earlier this season, the Redskins bottled up Elliott. They contained him to just 33 yards on the ground and limited him to two receptions for nine yards. Despite the bad performance against Washington, Elliott has totaled 363 yards and five touchdowns on the ground in four games against the Redskins.

Another back who rushed for over 100 yards in consecutive games was Ingram. The Saints running back carried the ball 16 times for 103 yards and two touchdowns in Week 11’s 48-7 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles.

Ingram finished the game with 22.3 fantasy points. In his last two games, he has compiled 207 yards on only 29 carries, just over seven yards a carry.

It is evident the veteran back has fresh legs after being suspended for the first five games of the season. In three of his five games, he has accumulated at least 20 fantasy points. Ingram didn’t have an opportunity to play Atlanta the first time around, but they had a difficult time trying to contain fellow back, Alvin Kamara. Kamara had 31 touches and 190 total yards.

Atlanta has allowed backs to rush for at least 120 yards in consecutive weeks for the first time this year and it won’t get any easier with Ingram on the field.
