Defense: New England Patriots

@ New York Jets, Sunday 1:00

Fanduel Price: $4,100

Bill Belichick typically does well when facing a rookie quarterback. The long-time coach is a defensive mastermind who excels at making things uncomfortable for even the league’s top passers.

New England already has 17 takeaways this year and now face a rookie quarterback who has thrown a league-high 14 interceptions. Sam Darnold and New York Jets offense face a tough task this weekend.

Belichick is going to draw up some exotic blitz packages and try to confuse the young quarterback in the secondary.

Backup Option: Buffalo Bills

vs. Jacksonville Jaguars, Sunday 1:00pm

Fanduel Price: $4,000

Despite the team’s struggles, the Buffalo Bills defense has been playing at a high level. This group is allowing a league-low 202 passing yards per game and under 100 rushing yards per game. It’s amazing to see such efficiency from a unit constantly put in poor situations by their offense.

This week the Bills face a Jacksonville Jaguars team that has greatly disappointed. Much of their problems come on the offensive side of the ball where Blake Bortles continues to struggle.

The one area where the Jaguars are trending upwards is the running game. Leonard Fournette is back from injury and looking to get his season on track. The Jaguars will look to feed Forunette the ball this weekend.

However, the Bills are likely aware of the Jaguars strategy and will counter.
