2019 NFL Mock Draft: 49ers land Nick Bosa
By Brad Weiss
The Detroit Lions have been losing a lot of footing in the NFC North in recent weeks, and have a monster game coming up on Thanksgiving Day against the Chicago Bears. The fact is, the Lions are the worst team in the division this season, and when all is said and done, they should be the first NFC North team to draft next April.
When it comes to the Lions roster, they do have some incredible weapons on offense, and quarterback Matthew Stafford has no problems racking up yardage through the air. The defense, however, has been nothing to write home about, and they need to make sure they address some of their issues next offseason.
With Ezekiel Ansah possibly leaving after the season, the Lions have to bring in some talent along the defensive line. One player who they could target currently plays his college football inside the state of Michigan, as Rashan Gary has first round talent written all over him.
The best thing about Gary is that he is so versatile, as he has the ability to play on the inside, but also the athleticism to move to the edge when needed. This Lions team needs to bring in players who can help immediately next season, and Gary certainly fits that bill.
