2019 NFL Mock Draft: 49ers land Nick Bosa
By Brad Weiss
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers went into Metlife Stadium this past weekend looking for a win, and hoping that Ryan Fitzpatrick could continue to show some magic for the team. However, their defense just did not show up, and when Fitzmagic ran out, and I mean started throwing interceptions, they ended up being down very early against the Giants.
Tampa Bay ended up benching Fitzpatrick, inserting back in 2015 first round draft pick Jameis Winston. Winston played great in relief, nearly leading the team all the way back for the victory, but the Bucs ended up on the losing end of a 38-35 decision.
When it comes to the Buccaneers, they have so many questions heading into next season, including whether or not Winston is the guy under center, or even if they are going to bring back their head coach. On Sunday, the secondary was beaten badly by Eli Manning, so they must take a look at the cornerback position and see where they go from here.
The best cornerback in the 2019 NFL Draft class is Greedy Williams from LSU, and he is certainly going to be a good one at the next level. The Bucs have gotten older in the secondary, and adding a player like Williams would give them that CB1 that they are currently missing, making them much better against the pass.
