Quarterback. Missouri. Drew Lock. 8. player. 52.

The Jacksonville Jaguars played some good football for three quarters on Sunday, but in the end, faltered against a better team in the Pittsburgh Steelers. With the Jaguars struggling mightily on offense, even with Leonard Fournette returning this past week, it is definitely time for the team to make a move at quarterback.

Last offseason, the Jaguars made the decision to commit to Blake Bortles for the long-term, but they need to fix the mess they currently have under center. If the Jaguars continue to lose, they could go from appearing in the AFC Championship Game, to being in the top-10 of the 2019 NFL Draft, which is a huge fall from grace.

In the 2019 NFL Draft class, there is some first round talent at the quarterback position, and one of those players is Drew Lock from Missouri. Lock is a guy who has made his bones in college shredding SEC defenses, which have produced some of the better talent in the NFL in recent drafts.

Lock would be a nice fit in Jacksonville, because they already have an established running back, and a very solid offensive line. All this team needs is a quarterback who can make plays, and after so many years of Blake Bortles, it is definitely time for them to turn the page.
