Fantasy Football, Week 12: High value plays for DraftKings
By Dylan Broady
Jack Doyle, Indianapolis Colts, $4,100
Stats: 229 receiving yards, 1 touchdown (5 games)
Week 12 feels like a Jack Doyle game. He is due for a big performance. With the way the Colts utilize their tight ends, there’s no way Doyle will be kept out of the end zone in this showdown. The defense is perfect, the atmosphere is at home and his quarterback is Andrew Luck. What more can you ask for? Doyle will have a big day as he has been involved a lot more than any other tight end on the Colts roster.
We all know what a big threat Eric Ebron has become with Luck as his quarterback. Doyle has only played in five games this season and hasn’t had a big performance yet. This game has all the makings of that. Doyle needs a statement game since returning from injury. This offense is clicking on all cylinders and there seems to be a different hero each week that has a breakout performance.
Next: Best NFL player from each state
Within this Colts four-game winning streak, two performances standout the most. Week 10 against the Jacksonville Jaguars where Ebron scored three times, Week 11 where we saw T.Y. Hilton breakout for 155 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Week 12 is Doyle’s day to shine for this offense. He comes at a very cheap price as the 10th-most expensive tight end on DraftKings. Utilize this great matchup and win big on Sunday.
Prediction: 85 receiving yards, 2 touchdowns
