2. Adam Gase

Gase has taken over a historic franchise struggling to recapture old glory. The Dolphins have struggled to put together multiple winning seasons ever since Dan Marino retired in the late ’90s. Gase was brought in to help this franchise get back to their winning ways. Since taking the job Gase is 21-22. His lone playoff game was a loss to the Steelers. This franchise needs more out of him going forward if he plans on staying in South Beach any longer. In Week 12 they visit the red-hot Indianapolis Colts, who have won four straight.

Week 12 won’t be an easy task. Even if Ryan Tannehill is coming back after missing the past five games with a shoulder injury. The Colts have turned themselves into a very well-rounded team and one that is hard to beat at home. Gase will need Tannehill to have a big comeback game as the Dolphins sit at 5-5, tied for the final wild card spot.

The Colts do have weaknesses even if it hasn’t seemed that way as of late. They are 23rd-ranked against the pass, so if Gase and Tannehill want to make a statement win, through the air they will have to go. The Dolphins haven’t been atrocious this season, especially since their recent seasons haven’t been amazing. Being at .500 is a step in the right direction for this franchise at this point in the season. To keep their heads above water and to make a serious playoff push, Gase will have to coach his best game.
