Kohl’s Black Friday hours 2018: When does Kohl’s open?

Kohl s Stores opened 28 department stores simultaneously throughout Southern California on Friday, March 7. Several hundred shoppers (seen here slowly moving towards the main entrance), waited in a line that snaked through the parking lot of the Buena Park store before the doors opened at 7:00 am Friday morning. Kohl’s is that department store that glitters in all of its mid-price glory. It will be a popular spot for Black Friday, so, what time will it open?

Need some a glittering new wardrobe for the new year, but don’t really have the funds to shop at Nordstrom or Saks Fifth Avenue? Well, let me introduce you to Kohl’s.

Kohl’s is a mid-priced department store that has the unique feature of not (normally) being located within a mall. You can find these sizable stores in shopping centers and, even, standalone spots, and although a Kohl’s store will have the look and feel of a Macy’s, this place is for the shopper who wants to look like a Saks, but has a mid-priced bank account.

So, this store will, undoubtedly, have a major crowd for Black Friday, and the line to get into Kohl’s will rival that of Old Navy, another store that will see insane shopping crowds on the busiest shopping day of the year.

Now, that begs the question on everyone’s mind — what time will Kohl’s open for Black Friday?

Here’s your answer.

More from Miscellaneous

Kohl’s has joined a growing number of retailers who have decided to ditch the free-for-all that is Black Friday and open their stores to the shopping public on Thanksgiving Day. This year, all stores will open at 5 p.m. on Turkey Day, but their actual Black Friday sales will begin at 12:01 a.m. on Black Friday.

Think of the early store opening as a pre-game planning exercise, studying the store’s layout so you will know where to dart to when the big sales actually begin. Now, you can avoid having to race to the big sales at their department stores by shopping on the website, Kohls.com, where their Black Fridays sales are already occurring as I type.

Happy shopping!
