Players costing $6,250 or under

Jordan Clarkson (at PHI – $5,300): Needs 23.8 fantasy points. Clarkson was at 31.5 fantasy points against the Lakers on Nov. 21. He’s been reliable this season and the ceiling is there and the Cavaliers need any kind of scoring they can get. Clarkson has his own personal green light and if he’s chipping in with assists, that’s even better. The Sixers defense isn’t great right now. Diagnosis: Always a slight risk because he’s Jordan Clarkson, but he’s been solid this year and the matchup is good.

Malcolm Brogdon (vs PHO – $4,900): Needs 22 fantasy points. Brogdon only played 24 minutes against the Blazers on Nov. 21, but still delivered 24.25 fantasy points. The minutes might be questionable once again because it’s the Suns, but he’s at a low salary and should deliver even in limited minutes. Diagnosis: Reliable option with a good ceiling and great matchup. Minutes might be an issue if this game gets out of hand.

Trey Burke (vs NO – $4,400): Needs 19.7 fantasy points. Burke was up to 59 fantasy points in his last game against the Celtics. Boston’s defense has given up big games to guards and Burke took advantage of that. The Pelicans have also given up big games to guards, which has me high on Burke heading into Friday. He’s playing well after a horrendous start to the season. Diagnosis: High ceiling and fantastic matchup. Great salary as well.
