FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – November 23, 2018
High Salary PG
Players costing over $6,667
Ben Simmons (vs CLE – $9,900): Needs 41.3 fantasy points. Simmons has been over 44 fantasy points in his last three games. Butler has taken a backseat and allowed Simmons to be himself, which has been great for his value. He should have no issue putting up numbers against the Cavaliers because they are the Cavaliers. Diagnosis: High ceiling, playing well, and it’s the Cavaliers.
Kyrie Irving (at ATL – $9,000): Needs 37.5 fantasy points. Irving has been over 53 fantasy points in three of his last four games. I don’t know what’s up with the Celtics overall, but I do know that Kyrie is getting his points and assists. He’ll got those numbers without a problem against the Hawks. Diagnosis: Great matchup and he’s red hot right now. Even if the Celtics struggle, Irving will get his.
Kyle Lowry (vs WAS – $8,000): Needs 33.3 fantasy points. Lowry was up to 58.9 fantasy points against the Hawks on Nov. 21. It was the Hawks and Kawhi Leonard didn’t play. Leonard should be back for this one, which will cut into Lowry’s value a bit, but it also makes his job easier. I’m not buying the Wizards despite their second half against the Clippers. Diagnosis: Hopefully back into rhythm. Proven ceiling and don’t be fooled by Washington.
