FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – November 23, 2018
High Value PG
Players costing $6,667 or under
Darren Collison (vs SA – $5,200): Needs 21.7 fantasy points. I’m not in love with the group of value point guards on Friday, but Collison had been playing well up until the Hornets game on Wednesday. If Oladipo returns to the lineup, Collison’s job will become easier. The Spurs defense isn’t great, but Collison had just 14.5 fantasy points against them on Oct. 24. Diagnosis: Inconsistent, but should get the minutes and has been playing well at home.
Trey Burke (vs NO – $4,900): Needs 20.4 fantasy points. Burke was at 55.7 fantasy points against the Celtics on Nov. 21. The Celtics have struggled against perimeter players, but it’s not like the Pelicans defense has been any better. Burke has started to turn his game around after a rough start and I’m going to trust him to keep it up against this matchup. Diagnosis: Playing well and a great matchup.
Fred VanVleet (vs WAS – $4,500): Needs 18.8 fantasy points. VanVleet has played better as a starter than off the bench this season. He’ll likely move back to the bench with Leonard back in the lineup, but I still can’t help but look at the Wizards and think that they are a mess who should be taken advantage of. Especially their bench unit. Diagnosis: Inconsistent this season, but a good salary and matchup given his potential.
Quick Hits
Jeremy Lin ($4,500): Playing well, shown a good ceiling, and the Celtics defense is weird right now.
