Players costing over $6,667

Zach LaVine (vs MIA – $8,500): Needs 34.7 fantasy points. LaVine returned to the lineup before Thanksgiving and had 40.2 fantasy points against the Suns. The Heat can be a tough matchup with their defense, but LaVine has been very good this season, hitting value in 71 percent of games and showing a high ceiling. Diagnosis: Reliable and high ceiling.

Donovan Mitchell (at LAL – $7,600): Needs 31 fantasy points. Mitchell has been over 43 fantasy points in three of his last four games. He was down to 9.7 fantasy points in a game against the Pacers, which obviously wasn’t good. But the Lakers defense isn’t great and Mitchell is about the only thing working on offense for the Jazz. Diagnosis: Good salary and great matchup.

Khris Middleton (vs PHO – $7,200): Needs 29.4 fantasy points. The only issue for Middleton in this matchup is the minutes. This could get ugly for the Suns as the Bucks should have no problem running them off the court. But Middleton had 40.4 fantasy points in 24 minutes against the Blazers, so he’s shown a high ceiling even in limited minutes. Diagnosis: Great matchup and will contribute no matter what.
