FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – November 23, 2018
High Salary SF
Players costing over $6,667
Giannis Antetokounmpo (vs PHO – $11,400): Needs 46.7 fantasy points. Giannis had 71.7 fantasy points in 30 minutes against the Blazers. That’s kind of nuts. Giannis is nuts. It shows that even in limited minutes, he can have a monster game. His minutes might be limited again on Friday as the Bucks get the Suns at home. I trust Giannis with my life right now. Diagnosis: If you’re worried about his minutes, maybe stay away. But he’s a proven player even in limited run.
LeBron James (vs UTA – $11,300): Needs 46.3 fantasy points. James is looking more like Cavaliers LeBron and less like Lakers LeBron is recent contests. As long as he keeps taking command, I have no problem taking him. Especially with how the Jazz have looked for the majority of this season. Diagnosis: He’s dominating right now and, as always, I will never say “don’t take LeBron.”
Kawhi Leonard (vs WAS – $9,800): Needs 40.1 fantasy points. Leonard is expected to play after missing the last game due to rest. If he’s out, you can look at Paul George, who is at a great salary now and continues to play well as a very strong second option. But, assuming Leonard plays, the matchup is great for him on Friday. Diagnosis: Been strong all season and it’s the Wizards. Their defense is not fixed after one good half against a Clippers team on a back-to-back.
