High Value SF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Gordon Hayward (at ATL – $6,400): Needs 26.2 fantasy points. Hayward is now coming off the bench, but his minutes are over 30, which is a great sign for his overall value. It’s the Hawks and they’ve struggled all season. Hayward’s scoring has been all over the place, but his rebounding is up and he’s getting assists. He should score enough to be a reliable option. Diagnosis: Great matchup, reliable, and a good ceiling based on him many minutes he plays.

Taurean Prince (vs BOS – $6,300): Needs 25.8 fantasy points. Prince was down to 21.5 fantasy points against the Raptors after going over 30 fantasy points in three straight. He’s been inconsistent this season, but he does have a high ceiling and the Celtics are struggling defensively right now. Prince was over 50 fantasy points in his last two games against the Celtics last season. Diagnosis: Should be reliable and has shown a good ceiling.

Joe Ingles (at LAL – $5,700): Needs 23.3 fantasy points. Ingles has been all over the place this season, but I’m going to trust him against the Lakers. Their defense has been all over the place this season and Ingles should continue to get to get his shots. At some point, the lid will come off the basket for him. He has been getting assists, which has helped his value. Diagnosis: Inconsistent, but a great matchup and good ceiling if shots fall.
