Atlanta Falcons-Julio Jones

The Falcons season has been derailed due to several high-profile injuries to their defense, but Julio Jones’ production hasn’t missed a beat. The Pro Bowl wide receiver has continued to make Matt Ryan look good on a weekly basis.

Remember early in the season when Jones’ lack of touchdowns was a major talking point? Those issues have been silenced in recent weeks. The former Alabama star now has touchdown catches in three consecutive weeks. His early season drought was clearly an issue of small sample size.

His other statistics on the season are even more stunning. He’s already caught 73 passes for 1,158 yards in just 10 games of action. Jones certainly isn’t the player at fault for Atlanta’s 4-6 record.

Jones may not be the flashiest wideout in the NFL, but that’s only because he makes big plays look downright routine. Some NFL fans might sleep on his greatness, but he’s certainly appreciated by Falcons fans.
