High Salary C

Players costing over $6,667

Karl-Anthony Towns (vs CHI – $10,500): Needs 46.6 fantasy points. Towns had 37.3 fantasy points in 28 minutes against the Nets on Friday. Foul trouble limited him, but you can’t count on that every night. Towns will be better against the Bulls as long as he keeps his hands to himself. The Bulls don’t really have an answer for anything right now and Towns has been great ever since Butler was shipped out of town. Diagnosis: Great matchup and is typically reliable given his scoring and rebounding ability.

Clint Capela (at CLE – $8,600): Needs 38.2 fantasy points. Capela had 67.7 fantasy points against the Pistons on Friday. Maybe he doesn’t go quite that high against the Cavaliers, but the ceiling is obviously there and the Cavaliers are a great matchup. I don’t care how they looked in recent games, they are still the Cavaliers. Capela will get points and rebounds. Diagnosis: Great matchup and typically gets his numbers in the Houston scheme.

Julius Randle (at WAS – $7,300): Needs 32.4 fantasy points. Randle was down to 27 fantasy points against the Knicks, but I’m not too concerned. If Davis doesn’t end up playing, Randle becomes a bigger factor. Even if Davis plays, Randle should have a good game given the matchup. He can do a bit of everything, his shot just didn’t fall against the Wizards. But the points and rebounds are typically there. Diagnosis: He’ll get it done against this matchup.
