FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – Nov. 24, 2018
High Salary PG
Players costing over $6,667
Russell Westbrook (vs DEN – $11,300): Needs 47.1 fantasy points. Westbrook was at 58.4 fantasy points against the Hornets on Friday. Both teams are on a back-to-back and the Thunder benefit from being at home and not having to travel. Numbers are never an issue for Westbrook and the Nuggets defense has certainly regressed lately. He needs a big game, but it’s always easy to trust Westbrook to have a big game. Diagnosis: He’ll deliver. He almost always delivers.
Kyrie Irving (at DAL – $9,400): Needs 39.2 fantasy points. Irving was down to 23.3 fantasy points against the Hawks, but he played just 20 minutes. The Mavericks will make things tougher on the Celtics. Irving got some rest, which is the good news as the Mavericks didn’t have to play on Friday. He had been red hot up until Friday and I trust him to bounce back with a matchup that’ll be more competitive. Diagnosis: His minutes will be back up and his production will follow.
De’Aaron Fox (at GS – $7,900): Needs 32.9 fantasy points. Warriors are on a back-to-back and the Kings are not. Fox was at 42.9 fantasy points against the Jazz on Nov. 21. He’s been solid for most of the season and has shown a high ceiling. The Warriors still aren’t right and the back-to-back doesn’t do them any favors. If the Warriors get Green or Curry back, then the dynamic changes. But those two will likely be game-time decisions. I’m just going with the information I have now. Diagnosis: High ceiling and a good matchup if the Warriors aren’t healthy.
