High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,667

Giannis Antetokounmpo (vs SA – $12,300): Needs 50.8 fantasy points. Giannis had to expend more energy than he should have on Friday, which is concerning heading into Saturday. The Spurs will make things tough on him, but he’s still Giannis. No team truly has an answer for him. He’ll get his numbers and then some. The Bucks should be extra salty after somehow losing to the Suns. Like, extra extra salty. Diagnosis: He’s Giannis, and he’s angry.

Paul George (vs DEN – $8,900): Needs 36.7 fantasy points. George continues to struggle with his shot, but he’s doing a bit of everything and the scoring numbers will typically be there. Both teams are on a back-to-back, and while the Nuggets had to spend less energy, they also have to travel and play on the road. He’s been reliable with a high ceiling all season. Diagnosis: Reliable if nothing else. If his shot finally falls, he’ll be huge.

Robert Covington (vs CHI – $6,800): Needs 28.1 fantasy points. I continue to love Covington on the Timberwolves. The minutes are always there and he does a bit of everything. Maybe the salary is a bit too high and you can always get someone like Durant, whose ceiling is much higher, but Covington is cost-effective and has a great matchup. He does a bit of everything and his scoring feels like a bonus at this point. Diagnosis: Reliable, great matchup, good ceiling.
