High Value SF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Harrison Barnes (vs BOS – $6,300): Needs 26 fantasy points. As always, if Wesley Matthews is out, Barnes is a great option. He’s a better scorer with Matthews out and he should get his points against the Celtics. If Matthews is in the lineup, he’ll continue to get his shots, but he won’t get quite as many and this salary is too high for what could be a much lower usage rate. Diagnosis: Good option if Matthews is out. If Matthews is in, look elsewhere.

Otto Porter Jr (vs NO – $6,100): Needs 25.2 fantasy points. Porter Jr has been better in his last couple of games, going over 30 fantasy points in both contests. I’m still not sure what to make of the Wizards, but I know their offense has firepower and I know the Pelicans defense has been terrible. I’ll trust Porter’s game right now, while also recognizing that it could go south in a hurry. Diagnosis: Playing well, but a slight risk because Wizards. Good reward.

Cedi Osman (vs HOU – $5,200): Needs 21.5 fantasy points. Cedi is back in the lineup and ready to take over the league again. He had 31.6 fantasy points against the Sixers on Friday. The Rockets are a tough matchup, but Cedi is at a good salary and he’s shown a high ceiling. Both teams are on a back-to-back, but the Cavaliers are at home, which should work to their benefit. Diagnosis: Trust in Cedi.
