FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – Nov. 24, 2018
High Salary PF
Players costing over $6,667
Anthony Davis (at WAS – $12,600): Needs 51.2 fantasy points. Davis had an injury scare on Friday, but returned and still finished with 52.4 fantasy points. Keep an eye on his status heading into Saturday’s game as it’s possible he’s held out. And if the Pelicans do hold him out, Julius Randle becomes a huge play. Assuming Davis plays, he has a great matchup. The Wizards are just dreadful on defense. Diagnosis: He’s Anthony Davis. He’s not playing much defense, but the offense is there.
LaMarcus Aldridge (at MIL – $8,100): Needs 32.9 fantasy points. The Pacers had no answer for Aldridge as he had 57.3 fantasy points on Friday. The Bucks are on a back-to-back as well, but they are at home. Still, they’ve had trouble against frontcourt players and Aldridge, especially when he’s on his game, is one of the best power forwards in the league. He’ll get his shots and rebounds without an issue. Diagnosis: Matchup is good and he’s back into rhythm.
Wendell Carter Jr (at MIN – $6,700): Needs 27.2 fantasy points. Carter was down to 17.8 fantasy points against the Heat on Friday. That’s a concern, but that’s just what comes with being a rookie. He’s flashed a high ceiling and I do like matchup for him on Saturday. He’s shown an ability to contribute more than he did on Friday and I’m going to trust him to bounce back in this one. Your only other high salary option is Tatum, whose ceiling is a bit more limited with Irving in the lineup, but he might be more reliable to not tank out. Diagnosis: I like the matchup and his ceiling.
