Players costing over $6,667

Ben Simmons (at BKN – $9,900): Needs 41.2 fantasy points. If Jimmy Butler is out, that’s only going to help Simmons’ value. Even if Butler plays, Simmons is in a good spot given the matchup. He had 45.9 fantasy points in 28 minutes against the Nets on Nov. 4. He’ll get his points and rebounds without an issue. Diagnosis: Great matchup and a very high ceiling, especially if Butler is out.

Kemba Walker (at ATL – $9,400): Needs 39.1 fantasy points. Kemba against the Hawks defense feels unfair. He had 50.1 fantasy points against the Hawks on Nov. 6. Kemba’s ceiling is as high as anyone in the league this season and against this defense, I’m going to trust him to get his points. Diagnosis: Good salary, great matchup, high ceiling. Love everything about Walker.

Mike Conley (vs NY – $8,900): Needs 37.1 fantasy points. Conley has been inconsistent this season, hitting value in just 50 percent of his games. But he’s playing well right now and he has the Knicks in front of him. I’m going to trust anyone against the Knicks with how bad they’ve been for the majority of the season. Conley should get his points and assists. Diagnosis: It’s a good player against the Knicks. Trust the good player.
