High Value PG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Spencer Dinwiddie (vs PHI – $6,600): Needs 27.5 fantasy points. Dinwiddie has been over 30 fantasy points in his last two games. He’ll continue to get minutes with LeVert out and you can’t count on Allen Crabbe to deliver every night. Dinwiddie is more of a sure thing with the way he plays and what he’s capable of. The Sixers are a mess right now and an injury to Butler doesn’t help their depth. Diagnosis: He’ll get the minutes and the matchup is good. Salary could be better.

Jeremy Lin (vs CHA – $4,700): Needs 19.6 fantasy points. Linsanity is back. He’s been good in five of his last six games and the Hornets defense isn’t all that great. He had 26.2 fantasy points in 18 minutes against the Hornets on Nov. 6. With Trae Young going through rookie things, Lin’s value increases. Diagnosis: Playing well and a great salary given the minutes and chances he should get.

Fred VanVleet (vs MIA – $4,500): Needs 18.7 fantasy points. VanVleet has been up-and-down this season, but he’s been good in three of his last four and hopefully, he’s starting to come around. We’ve seen this act from him before this season, but he’s at a good salary and typically plays good minutes. Diagnosis: Low-cost option who gets plenty of minutes and is hopefully in rhythm.
