Players costing over $6,667

D’Angelo Russell (vs PHI – $7,400): Needs 30.1 fantasy points. Russell was down to 12.1 fantasy points against the Timberwolves on Nov. 23. That’s the bad news, but there’s reason to believe that he won’t shoot as poorly as he did in that game on Sunday. He had 34.4 fantasy points in 25 minutes against the Sixers on Nov. 4. He’s still a high ceiling guy with the minutes and usage he gets. Diagnosis: Sixers defense isn’t great and Russell will bounce back.

CJ McCollum (vs LAC – $6,900): Needs 28.1 fantasy points. McCollum has been at 28.7 fantasy points in each of his last two games. He had 34.4 fantasy points against the Clippers on Nov. 8. McCollum is typically reliable, but his value can be tied to his scoring a bit too much. But he’ll always get the shots in the Blazers offense. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Lou Williams (at POR – $6,700): Needs 27.3 fantasy points. Williams has tailed off a bit in his last couple of games, but the minutes are still there for him and we know what he’s capable of. He had 32.1 fantasy points in the Nov. 8 meeting against the Blazers. They’ll need his scoring and playmaking on Sunday. Could give you around the same value as McCollum on $200 less. Diagnosis: Similar to McCollum where the minutes and chances will be there and he’s reliable to put up numbers.
