FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – November 25, 2018
High Salary SF
Players costing over $6,667
Kawhi Leonard (vs MIA – $9,700): Needs 39.7 fantasy points. Leonard had 47 fantasy points in 30 minutes against the Wizards on Nov. 23. You more or less know what you’re getting from Leonard. He’s a high ceiling guy and is always going to get numbers. The Heat are a decent matchup and they’ve given up some big games to superstars this season. Leonard will contribute in some way. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling. But maybe not high enough.
Josh Richardson (at TOR – $7,700): Needs 31.5 fantasy points. Richardson had 39.9 fantasy points on Nov. 23 against the Bulls. The Raptors will be a much tougher matchup, especially if Leonard ends up guarding him. He’s a high ceiling player and the best offensive option on the Heat, but I don’t love him in this matchup. Diagnosis: Potential is there, but this is a rough matchup.
Danilo Gallinari (at POR – $6,900): Needs 28.2 fantasy points. Gallinari has been over 35 fantasy points in two of his last three games. He was down to 16.5 fantasy points in the one other game, but you can just chalk that up to an off-night. He had 24 fantasy points in the Nov. 8 meeting against the Blazers. With the emergence of Montrezl Harrell, Gallinari’s impact has lessened and I’m not sure what to make of him right now. He’s good, but maybe not good enough to take at this salary. Diagnosis: Potential is there, but really needs to shoot well with Harrell taking more rebounds.
