High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,667

Montrezl Harrell (at POR – $8,300): Needs 33.6 fantasy points. You’re getting 2-for-1 specials with these next to players. I like Harrell more than Harris because his points and rebounds are more guaranteed. Harris needs to shoot the ball well, Harrell just needs to be himself. He’s also more likely to contribute on the defensive end. Production has never been an issue for Harrell, it’s been his minutes. The minutes are now there. Diagnosis: High ceiling and playing extremely well right now.

Serge Ibaka (vs MIA – $7,100): Needs 28.7 fantasy points. Siakam finally dropped off a bit in his last game while Ibaka stayed hot. At this point, Ibaka is a better option and he’s flashed a higher ceiling. He’s also slightly cheaper. There’s no reason to doubt Ibaka, but I would like to see more consistent minutes for him. The Heat can be a tough matchup because they have the ability to slog things up. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling, even if the matchup isn’t great.

Jaren Jackson Jr. (vs NY – $6,700): Needs 27.1 fantasy points. Jackson has been up-and-down in recent games. He was up against the Clippers, so if the trend continues, he’ll be down against the Knicks. I trust that he’ll do just fine because it is the Knicks. He’s a rookie, so the worry is always there, but he’s shown a high ceiling and can do a bit of everything. Diagnosis: Rookie inconsistencies are always there. But things look good for him on Sunday.
