Wide Receivers

Odell Beckham Jr, New York Giants @ Philadelphia Eagles – $8800

A New York Giant topped the running back list and now will top the wide receiver list. The two most dynamic players on the Giants offense carried them a week ago in a tough win against the Buccaneers. Odell Beckham seems to be having a quiet season for his standard, despite being a top-ten fantasy wide receivers. This week he should add to his numbers against a completely demolished Eagles secondary. Philadelphia is the second friendliest defense to receivers and will only get worse as the injuries continue to mount. There is a reason Beckham is priced so high, he deserves it.

Antonio Brown, Pittsburgh Steelers @ Denver Broncos – $8700

Neck and neck with Beckham is the NFL’s top receiver Antonio Brown. Brown’s leading the NFL in touchdown catches with 11, tied with Tyreek Hill. He had another strong game against Jalen Ramsey and the Jagaurs defense, mostly in the second half. Pittsburgh’s passing attack is picking up steam as the season progresses. A relatively tough matchup awaits in Denver. Pittsburgh struggles on the road and Denver ranks in the bottom half of the league against receivers. Brown is matchup proof, evident as week ago, but be warned this could be a down game AB.

Mike Evans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs San Francisco 49ers – $7700

With the return of Jameis Winston to the lineup, Mike Evans must be happy. For whatever reason, he and Winston have a much better connection than he does with Fitzpatrick. The two former first round picks will look to finish strong this season against the 49ers. San Francisco ranks 12th in points allowed to opposing receivers. There will be yards to have for Evans but a tough matchup with Richard Sherman may make life difficult. It is hard to trust the Buccaneers offense at all, but Evans is the most trustworthy of them all.

A.J. Green, Cincinnati Bengals vs Cleveland Browns – $7600

Adam Schefter of ESPN announced that A.J. Green will be missing this game this weekend. Green will be missed by Cincinnati’s offense but should not be in any lineup.

JuJu Smith-Schuster, Pittsburgh Steelers @ Denver Broncos – $7500

It is becoming more and more frequent where two wide receivers from the same team show up in the top five of DraftKigns pricing. This week it is JuJu Smith-Schuster joining his Steelers’ teammate Antonio Brown. Smith-Schuster is building on his impressive rookie campaign with a stellar sophomore season. Even against the tough Jaguars defense, Smith-Schuster topped 100 yards. This week he will likely see more targets as Brown battles Chris Harris for most of the game. However, Pittsburgh’s road struggles could cost Smith-Schuster the most.

Value Wide Receivers

Josh Gordon, New England Patriots @ New York Jets – $6400

Josh Gordon has looked incresingly good in each of his appearances as a New England Patriot. Now coming off the bye, he should be even more entrenched in the offense. That is why he is a great value at $6400. New England will throw the ball, of course, and  Gordon has seen big target numbers every week. New York has given up the sixth most yards to receivers on the season. New England’s pass attack takes shots and those will go to Gordon who can and should get over the top of the Jets this weekend

Tyler Boyd, Cincinnati Bengals @ Cleveland Browns – $6000

With A.J. Green’s likely return to the lineup, it rightfully slots Tyler Boyd as the Bengals number two receiver. He has grown into that role well and is looking like a perfect option next to Green. The former first round pick may be the Bengals receiver to own this weekend. Green will garner the attention but Boyd can feast against the Browns secondary. This game should be close so there is a chance the entire Bengals offense gets enough to share the wealth. Boyd is a solid option considering the $1000 price drop from only a week ago.

Doug Baldwin, Seattle Seahawks @ Carolina Panthers – $5100

The Seattle Seahawks passing attack has been a bit up and down this year. Russell Wilson certainly has missed top target Doug Baldwin. The talented receiver enters Sunday’s slate with a questionable tag but most think he will play. If he does play he will have a big opportunity. The Panthers rank about league average in points to opposing receivers. Opportunity alone is the reason Baldwin is considered a value against a middle-of-the-road defense.

D.J. Moore, Carolina Panthers vs Seattle Seahawks – $4600

D.J. Moore is coming off the best game of his rookie year. The talented first round pick out of Maryland is a great compliment to the rest of the PAnthers passing offense. With Devin Funchess announced out, Moore can step into that top target role as a wide receiver. He will have to split touches with Greg Olsen and Christian McCaffrey. However, against a Seattle defense that has been skilled at taking away tight ends and running backs, Moore could be in store for a big game.
