High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,667

Kemba Walker (vs MIL – $9,200): Needs 38.2 fantasy points. Kemba had 46.5 fantasy points against the Hawks on Sunday. A pretty disappointing number given the matchup. He did have 52.4 fantasy points against the Bucks on Oct. 17. It’s a back-to-back, which is a concern, but he’s been great in his two back-to-back games this season, averaging 56.9 fantasy points. He typically gets his points and chips in with plenty of assists. Diagnosis: The back-to-back makes him a slight risk, but he’s been strong all season and has a very high ceiling. I’m a little wary though.

Kyrie Irving (at NO – $9,000): Needs 37.4 fantasy points. Irving was down to 38 fantasy points against the Mavericks on Nov. 24. His scoring has been down a bit in his recent games, but I expect him to bounce back against the Pelicans and their lack of defense. Irving should get his points and assists without a problem in this one. Diagnosis: Love the matchup and his ceiling. He’ll make it happen.

Eric Bledsoe (at CHA – $7,400): Needs 30.7 fantasy points. Bledsoe had 43.8 fantasy points against the Spurs on Nov. 24. He had just 27.3 fantasy points against the Hornets on Oct. 17 and has been inconsistent for the majority of the season. That said, he’s been great for the majority of the month and I’ll trust him on Monday against a Hornets on a back-to-back. Diagnosis: Good matchup and should be reliable.
