High Value SF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Rudy Gay (at CHI – $6,300): Needs 26 fantasy points. Gay had 25.8 fantasy points against the Bucks on Nov. 24. The rebounds weren’t there in that matchup, but they should definitely be there against the Bulls. He’s been good since returning from injury and I trust he’ll be good against this matchup. The Bulls haven’t really stopped anyone all season. Gay should get his points and rebounds. Diagnosis: Great matchup and a high ceiling.

E’Twaun Moore (vs BOS – $5,900): Needs 24.3 fantasy points. Moore bounced back from his 9.8 fantasy point game against the Knicks with 42 fantasy points against the Wizards. He got it done with his defense, which won’t always be there. As long as his scoring his there, the value will be there. The Celtics have had issues against perimeter players and Moore can score in bunches. Diagnosis: High ceiling, but also a risk. I just don’t trust the Celtics on the road right now.

Bojan Bogdanovic (at UTA – $5,300): Needs 21.8 fantasy points. Bogdanovic has been reliable all season, hitting value in 74 percent of games. He had 27.2 fantasy points against the Spurs on Nov. 23. The Jazz looked good on Sunday, but they are on a back-to-back and have been inconsistent all season. Even if Oladipo returns, Bogdanovic will be a nice contributor. Diagnosis: Reliable with a great matchup.
