Derrick Favors
SALT LAKE CITY, UT – JANUARY 30: Derrick Favors /

High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Derrick Favors (vs IND – $5,900): Needs 23.8 fantasy points. Favors had 37.4 fantasy points against the Kings on Sunday. I still can’t figure out the Jazz and Favors has certainly been inconsistent this season. The ceiling is there, but who knows on a game-to-game basis with Utah. The fact that they are on a back-to-back and against a rested Pacers team doesn’t bode well. Diagnosis: More chances to contribute with Mitchell out of the lineup. But inconsistent.

Marcus Morris (at NO – $5,100): Needs 20.6 fantasy points. Morris has drawn the start in his last two games. He had 25 fantasy points against the Mavericks on Nov. 24. With Jaylen Brown out of the lineup, Morris should continue to get more minutes. The shots are always there for him because he always takes his shots. Diagnosis: Good circumstances, but a bit inconsistent. I have a good feeling about him on Monday.

Markieff Morris (vs HOU – $4,700): Needs 19 fantasy points. Morris has done better coming off the bench, finishing with over 32 fantasy points in his last two games. The Wizards will likely go small against the Rockets, which should benefit Morris. The points will be there as the Wizards need anything off the bench and Morris is a reliable scorer against opposing second units. Diagnosis: Good salary, playing well, and very good circumstances.
